Refund and Referral Policy:
Thank you for choosing our dog training classes! We know life can sometimes get a little ruff, so we’ve put together this policy to help you and your furry best friend stay on track, no matter what life throws your way.
Commitment and Refunds
Before signing up, take a moment to paws and think about your schedule, your commitment to training, and whether your pup is ready to shine!
Our small class sizes ensure paws-on attention, and by enrolling, you’re reserving a spot just for you.
Cancelling before the course begins?
Please send us an email at mail@internationaldogtrainingschool.com.au at least 7 days before your class start date.
If you cancel 7 days or more before start date you will recieve a refund minus $40 admin fee
Or you can receive a credit for a new class with no admin fee incurred
Credits can be used for a future course up to 3 months validity
Private Consultation Cancellation Policy
Private consultations are $150 per session and are required to be paid prior to your appointment in order to confirm your booking.
As our trainers schedule travel and dedicate appointment times specifically for each client, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Appointments cancelled or postponed within 24 hours of the scheduled booking may incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Where possible, we are always happy to work with clients needing to reschedule with adequate notice.
Once the course has started or within 7 days of class start date
No refunds are available for any reason
(This includes holidays, injuries, illnesses, change of mind, behavioural concerns or schedule clashes.) Unless we deam your dog unsuitable for class.
In rare, extreme cases, management may offer a credit only for a future class or private consult.
This a case by case basis
Missed a Week?
Missed a class? It happens!
You’re welcome to return to your class the following week and pick up where you left off.
If you let us know ahead of time, we can sometimes send a short online lesson or homework to help you stay on track.
Missed Two or More Weeks?
We’ve changed things to keep class sizes consistent and training fair for all.
After Rookies, we do NOT offer catch-up classes or rollovers.
No:
* Make-up lessons
* Swapping into other groups
* Rolling unused weeks into new courses
Special Rules for Rookies & Prep Pups
Because our youngest pups have big feelings and small attention spans, they get a little more flexibility!
Miss your Prep session?
→ You can complete it in the next available Rookies class.
Miss a week of Rookies?
→ You may join one single Rookies lesson as a complimentary catch-up (subject to space).
After that, all catch-ups are closed.
Doggie Dilemmas
Sometimes life throws curveballs — a paw injury, surgery, illness, or other unexpected issues.
If your pup needs to sit out for a while:
You may receive a credit towards a future suitable class or private consult
That does not automatically offset you a spot in the next round of class we may invite you to join an under-enrolled future class — this is a kindness, not a guarantee, and offered at our discretion.
* Credits are valid for 6 months
* A vet note may be requested
Make-Up” Magic (No Traditional Make-Ups)
Because space can be tighter than a squeaky toy under the couch, we don’t offer traditional make-up classes (except Rookies).
But you can:
Sit in on any session at any location (without your dog) to watch and learn
Request homework for weeks you’ve missed
Ruffly Attendance
To keep tails wagging, we need at least 4 dogs for our Mini Minor Paws and Rookie Paws classes.
If a class has low numbers, we’ll notify you at least 2 days before the scheduled start.
You may:
Transfer to another class, or
Receive a full refund (only if *we* cancel the class)
