Terms and Conditions
T&C’s
We prioritize the health and safety of all participants at our school. While we strongly encourage vaccinations for dogs attending our classes, we understand that individual circumstances may vary. Therefore, we accept titer testing and maintain the option to discuss your dogs ability to attend.
For the safety and wellbeing of all dogs and handlers, dogs in season (on heat) are not permitted to attend classes, training sessions, functions, or events. A female dog in season can create significant distraction, stress, and unsafe situations for other dogs in a class environment. If your dog comes into season during a course, please contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you to arrange a suitable alternative where possible.
By participating in School classes, functions, and events, I acknowledge and accept that there are inherent risks involved in handling and training dogs, including potential contact with other dogs. These risks may include contracting communicable diseases, physical injuries to both myself, guests and my dog arising from altercations with other dogs, the condition of the School premises and grounds, as well as various other factors. In consideration of these risks, I agree not to hold the School or any of its members, officers, or representatives liable for any claims arising from illness, injury, or conditions suffered by me, my dog, or any third party.
I further agree to indemnify the School and said individuals against any claims made by any person in connection with such illness, injury, or condition, as well as any losses or damages incurred by me or said claimant. This agreement and indemnity shall apply even in cases where the School or other involved parties have been negligent.
The School reserves the right to remove any student who engages in harmful or fearful behavior towards their own dog, another dog, or any human.
As a handler, you acknowledge that you possess sufficient physical fitness and ability to control your dog at all times. All handlers must be at least 12 years of age to handle a dog in class. If you have any concerns that may hinder your ability to train safely or fully understand your instructor, kindly inform us before enrolling so we can provide the necessary assistance and support.
In the event that we observe signs of stress or severe reactivity in your dog, impeding their ability to learn or interact comfortably in a class setting, we reserve the right to refer your dog to our onsite Behavior Specialists. We will make every effort to arrange private consultations, as not all dogs are suitable for class training.
Private Consultation cancellation policy
Private consultations start at $150 per session and are required to be paid prior to your appointment in order to confirm your booking.
As our trainers schedule travel and dedicate appointment times specifically for each client, we kindly ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
Appointments cancelled or postponed within 24 hours of the scheduled booking may incur a $50 cancellation fee.
Where possible, we are always happy to work with clients needing to reschedule with adequate notice.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these policies, as they are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. If you have any questions or require further clarification, please do not hesitate to reach out. We look forward to embarking on a positive and enriching training journey together!
